NMS3201 Applied Pathophysiology and Pharmacology 3

Prerequisites:
240 credit points from Nursing and Midwifery units in 1st and 2nd year.
 
Description:

This unit will cover the principles of pathophysiology and pharmacology from nursing and midwifery perspectives.  The integration of diagnostics and treatment will involve the application of pathophysiological mechanisms to physiological systems.  There will also be application of microbiological, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles to pathophysiological systems.
