Description:

This unit is designed to provide knowledge of significant aspects of entrepreneurship and small business management. This is a capstone unit in the Public Practice major and will apply different aspects of knowledge gained from other business disciplines to small businesses. Students are also made aware of the latest research and issues in small business management through reading of business newspapers and academic research articles and seminar discussions as well as the practical issues faced by small business owners and operators through interaction with people actually operating their own businesses.
