HOS2112 Beverage Appreciation II

Description:
This unit will provide an introduction to beverage issues, including sensory perception, wine production, labelling and styles. Beer and spirit production and styles, tea, coffee and soft drinks, service issues and responsible handling. The unit forms an introduction to the Certificate course offered by the internationally respected Wine and Spirit Education Trust, and the Trust certificate can be sat by students on completion of an extra one day course on ‘Wines of the World’.
