OCT4119 Health Conditions and Occupational Performance

Description:

Students are introduced to diseases, disorders and impairments as barriers to occupational performance and participation in society across the lifespan. This includes an introduction to the principles, processes, conditions and cultural factors that affect a person's physical and mental health, and general wellbeing. Attention is given to the sensitivities health workers need to consider when working with specific client populations, especially those from other cultures.
