A58 Certificate II in Music Theatre (Introductory)

INTRODUCTION
The aim of the Certificate II in Music Theatre is to assist students in gaining more experience in the areas of song, dance and acting. 

 

The course aims specifically to study audition techniques and develop the student’s ability and knowledge in the area of music theatre. On completion of the Certificate, students will have developed and rehearsed an audition repertoire and gained relevant skills in acting, voice and dance. Satisfactory completion of the course will not guarantee entry into the Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) course. However, satisfactory completion of the Certificate will prepare students for the audition process.

 

This VET course is offered by WAAPA as a Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Quality Training Framework, and is accredited through the Training Accreditation Council of Western Australia.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission to the course is based on audition/ interview. Students apply directly to the Academy for admission.
