U68 Master of Security Management

The course is designed to prepare security executives for strategic security management responsibilities in corporate and government organizations. The Master of Security Management provides professional security executives and consultants the opportunity to develop knowledge in their specific areas of interest. 

 

The main themes of this course are advanced risk management, advanced security technology and analysis of contemporary issues in security. In addition there is an opportunity to expand their interest in a specific area through the project option in Stage 3 of the course. Graduates will be able to contribute to professional debate in areas such as managing risk, business continuity, security technology and management of the security function.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Students may enter with an undergraduate degree, or equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience.

 

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Overseas students may be admitted to the course subject to the University’s fee scale and admission requirements.
 
The language of instruction is English and all students are expected to be proficient in both spoken and written English. All assessment will be conducted in the English language.
