E47 Bachelor of Engineering (Communication Systems)/Bachelor of Science (Security)

There is a growing demand in high-technology industries and research centres, especially in the areas of information technology and telecommunications, for engineers with knowledge and professional skills in security management, industrial security and relevant areas of engineering.  While specialising in the discipline areas of electronic systems, computer systems or communication systems engineering, the double degree programs broaden the overall knowledge of students in areas which are complementary to their technical skills.

All double degree courses require five years of study.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

In addition to satisfying standard ECU admission requirements, satisfactory performance in TEE (or equivalent) Calculus or Applicable Mathematics is required. Students who have completed an Associate Diploma or its equivalent in an allied field may be admitted to the Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Science (Security) with advanced standing.
