E38 Bachelor of Science (Psychology) Honours

This course involves one year of full‑time study or two years of part-time study on successful completion of the Bachelor of Science (Psychology) or equivalent accredited three year degree in psychology at another institution.  Students are admitted into the program in February of each year. Entry into the Honours program is highly competitive.

Students normally require a course average of 70 per cent and a minimum of 70 per cent in second and third year in order to be eligible to apply for admission to the Honours program. Entrance is then determined primarily on the basis of grades in second and third year psychology units. They should also have demonstrated aptitude for, and commitment to, research.

The Honours program in psychology comprises four units of fourth year coursework and a thesis.
