Q75 / F71 Graduate Certificate of Social Science (Children and Family Studies)

The Graduate Certificate of Social Science (Children and Family Studies) is designed for professionals who wish to upgrade their knowledge and understanding of family support programs, children’s development and working with children and families at risk.

 

COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY

This course is available by  full-time or part-time study, internally on Joondalup campus, externally through the Flexible Delivery Centre or by mixed mode.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

A three year degree from a recognised tertiary institution, or the equivalent.

 

 
Students must complete four out of any of the seven units listed (4 x 15 = 60 Credit Points). Students MUST complete either:

OR
CHN4112 Ecology of Children and Families 2 15
 
Semester 1

CHN4211 Child Rearing 15
CHN4116 Advocating for Change: Children and Families at Risk 15
CHN4117 Purpose of Play 15
 
Semester 2
CHN4112 Ecology of Children and Families 2 15
CHN4113 Family Diversity and Difference 15
