The major is aimed at students wishing to pursue a career in the planning or development sector. Urban and regional planning is an expanding sector of the economy and increasingly requires graduates to have a thorough grounding in business knowledge and skills. This major equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to function as business professionals and industry participants in contemporary urban and regional planning organisations.
The Planning major consists of 120 credit points (8 units) as per structure listed below.
Please note that completion of this major does not provide recognition as a corporate member of the Planning Institute of Australia.
