Public Health Methods Area of Specialisation

W61 GRADUATE DIPLOMA OF PUBLIC HEALTH 
 

The public health methods area of specialisation is intended to equip students with skills and understandings that will facilitate their career effectiveness and aid with career progression in a range of health service and policy settings. It will suit those students who have an interest in understanding health issues in a broader societal context, who want to understand the ways in which public health issues are being interpreted and managed, and who want to extend their skills in identifying population level health risks and responding to threats to community health. Students are required to complete 120 credit points (6 units) to complete the area of specialisation.
