WAAPA00014 Use devised work and rehearsal technique to generate movement imagery
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS
 
Description:

Advanced classes in movement for actors. Emphasis is placed on devising work and using various rehearsal techniques to generate interesting movement imagery. The Feldenkrais program continues as well as classes in fencing. The third year is spent consolidating, revising and deepening all methods of work designed to free the body, voice and imagination. The students demonstrate a synthesis of their movement with all aspects of acting in four to five productions performed for the public.
