Description:

This unit is designed to consolidate research skills through the examination of specific research related to medical and psychiatric conditions, pharmacology and/or injury. It introduces the student to the development of quantitative and qualitative research skills, which have direct relevance to pre-hospital health issues. It will equip students with the knowledge and ability to apply a range of practical research methodologies to pre hospital health programs and the capacity to critically evaluate pre hospital health projects.
