Description:

This unit examines the relation of theory and practice in the production of literary works. The ways in which writers elucidate and defend their literary practice are examined and students acquire skills that enable them to discuss the theoretical underpinnings of their own creative and critical texts. This unit encourages students to write creatively and experimentally, to develop their critical and interpretive skills, and to be self-reflective about their writing and reading practices.
