WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS

Description:
This unit provides an historical overview of Western art and architecture. Design for performance is studied in detail from early Greek to 20th century. The emphasis is on social and political issues that have contributed to the emergence of the varied performance styles. History of costume is focused on the 16th to the 20th centuries.
