SSE4225 Teaching Upper Secondary Social Science

Description:
This is the main curriculum unit for teaching upper secondary courses within the Society and Environment Learning Area. The unit includes an analysis of Year 11 and Year 12 Syllabus documents, teaching strategies to achieve appropriate learning area outcomes, teaching-learning resources, assessment requirements and evaluation strategies, planning a teaching-learning program and state curriculum developments. Students will be provided with opportunities to specialise in one of the following upper secondary teaching areas: economics, geography, history, law or political science.
