SSE4133 Planning for Teaching Secondary Society and Environment

Description:
This introductory unit is designed to prepare social science major and minor students for teaching, the Society and Environment Learning Area, to lower secondary school classes. Areas of emphasis will include: the framework for the Society and Environment Learning Area; the Social Studies K-10 Syllabus and Unit Curriculum; concept building, teaching strategies and resources; lesson planning and programming.
