PPA4180 Middle Years Professional Practice

Description:
The Middle Years Professional Practice is designed to provide student teachers with the opportunity to make sense of the upper years of primary schooling from a teacher's perspective - and to begin to learn the complex and many roles of a teacher. Experiences during the practice are designed to enable student to develop professional and collaborative work practices with peers and school staff. Students will be placed in schools in pairs or small groups and will be expected to prepare and teach lessons in a range of different curriculum areas. They are also expected to undertake small projects that are likely to enhance the educational opportunities and learning of school’s students.
