Description:

This unit introduces students to curriculum planning and the design of teaching, learning and assessment tasks in Health and Physical Education. The teacher’s skills in designing curriculum and teaching and learning activities to address various learning outcomes in Health and Physical Education will be outlined and practically applied.  Students will explore linkages between curriculum aims, curriculum design, teaching approaches and strategies. Innovative and traditional approaches to curriculum design and teaching games arecompared and evaluated.
