Description:
This unit explores how database and data warehouse systems are managed in organisations. It is a practical guide to designing, building, and implementing a database and a corresponding data warehouse in a multi-user environment. For business managers, data warehousing promises significant competitive advantage for their companies. Information system managers see it as the way to overcome the traditional roadblocks to providing business information for managers and end users.
