E-business is changing the business landscape and has played an important role in many organisations, both large and small. The advent of the Internet has provided many business opportunities. However, managing e-business can be a big challenge facing managers of both start-ups and established businesses. This unit will focus on managerial issues relating to e-business. Specifically, it will cover such topics as the fundamental driving forces of e-business, business models, e-business strategies, integration of e-business with existing businesses, the impacts of e-business on organisational structure and human resource management and relationship management with customers and suppliers. This unit will expose students to a variety of new business models and their management implications. | |||
