LAN4175 Teaching of Secondary English 1

Description:
This unit is the first of the two English curriculum units for the Graduate Diploma in Education, Secondary English. It this unit students learn how to plan effective English lessons for the lower secondary school. They are given practice in evaluating and responding to student writing. Theories relevant to the teaching of English are examined, and students are introduced to a range of relevant textbooks and resources.
