GEO1103 Contemporary Landuse Issues
SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ARTS

Description:

The relationships between economic and environmental issues and the manner in which they are spatially expressed. This is developed through two themes.  The first is landuse conflict in forest regimes and involves the study of management and development policies in the south-west of Western Australia and Malaysia. The second examines extensive agricultural practices and landscape degradation in the wheatlands of Australia and North America.
