Students will develop an understanding of the changing nature of education, students, teaching and the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in all Learning Areas. In developing this understanding students will explore: (1) the changing nature of the teaching and learning process; (2) the challenge of cultural diversity; and (3) the use of ICT to enhance teaching and learning as well as developing the personal ICT skills that are required of teachers. Throughout the unit, students will engage in a reflective process to develop insights into themselves as teachers, including their motives regarding being a teacher, their values and their personal competencies. | |||
