ECS4110 Planning and Evaluating Learning

Description:
This unit provides students with the opportunity to refine skills in developing a curriculum that builds on children’s competencies, interests and needs. Students will become familiar with the process of curriculum development and evaluation. Major topics include planning programs and environments for early childhood settings, assessing, monitoring and evaluating children’s progress, selecting appropriate teaching strategies, and critically analysing curricular decisions.
