MKT4101 Marketing

Description:
The rapid adoption of the Internet by both businesses and consumers is creating unprecedented opportunities for marketers with knowledge of how to take advantage of it. However, the Internet can also be a threat to businesses unable or unwilling to recognise the changed environment and harness the advantages it offers. This unit will explore marketing on the Internet from these perspectives, concentrating mainly on how the technology can result in the creation of value for customers - the heart of a healthy marketing concept. Students will be exposed to the marketing implications of the most exciting technology of this era and learn how to exploit it for business gains.
