Description:

This unit introduces students to classical and contemporary work on the foundations of religious belief. Topics covered include: the nature of religious experience; miracles; the problem of evil; arguments for the existence of God; and the meaning of life. The course explores these topics from religious, atheistic and agnostic perspectives.
