Description:
The unit examines the principles and methodologies underpinning sport management practice with special emphasis upon the processes of decision-making, communication and motivation. The application of these processes within the voluntary, commercial, private and public sectors of the sport industry is examined and empirical research conducted into the characteristics of decision-making, communication and motivation strategies employed by selected sport organsations.
