OHS5116 Corporate Risk Management

Description:

Corporate risk management provides practical learning experiences in the efficient and effective management of corporate emergencies. Students explore how to conduct a risk analysis, control the risks that may cause a disaster to occur and meet legal obligations to do this. Students explore plans of how to manage a disaster using local, regional and national disaster management arrangements and how to mitigate the impact of an industrial crisis on the surrounding community and environment. The unit includes development of business continuity policies and strategies.
