The emphasis in this unit is on developing a high level of competence in career coaching skills, underpinned by theory and research. These skills include the choice, sequencing, integration and evaluation of a range of targeted self marketing, employability, enterprise, stakeholder collaboration and personal and process management skills to optimise career and life goal achievement, performance and satisfaction. Networking, self marketing, coaching, mentoring, role modelling, giving and receiving feedback and advocacy skills will be developed.
