Description:
This unit examines the underlying administrative basis for managing the environment within a planning framework. In doing so the fundamental principles and strategies used in environmental planning are examined in relation to meeting the needs and interests of society while maintaining the integrity of the physical, biological and aesthetic qualities of the natural environment.
