NUT5103 Nutrition Promotion

Description:
This unit critically examines the origins, content and ethics of nutrition information as it is promoted in developing and developed nations. The major models of nutrition education are evaluated and examples of multi-media, point-of-purchase and objective-based programs are assessed. Social learning theory and food behaviour research form the bases for the design of innovative approaches to dietary guidance.
