Description:

This unit focuses on the role that leadership and advocacy skills play in achieving public health goals. Contemporary views about effective leadership and advocacy are examined with an emphasis on public health services and issues. Methods for establishing organisational cultures that support high ethical standards and a commitment to development and excellence are also analysed.
