S60 Graduate Certificate in Transition Nursing

The Graduate Certificate in Transition Nursing develops clinical confidence in decision-making, clinical judgment and augments clinical skill and knowledge development in the advanced beginner Registered Nurse employed in hospital-based Graduate Nurse Program.  This course through the provision of structured clinical rotations and skill and technical knowledge enhancement develops the nurse's ability to make sound clinical judgements to meet the challenges in health care delivery.

SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

a) A certified copy of the prospective student’s proof of identity containing a photograph is required (for example a passport or driver’s licence); and

b) Acceptance into a Graduate Nurse Program at a participating health care agency (hospital).

COURSE STRUCTURE

To successfully complete this course students must complete three core units of study (60 credit points).
