Description:

The major objective of this unit is to help students think internationally.  It provides an introduction to the major social, political and economic challenges facing international business in the 21st century.  In doing so it will help students develop competence in the use of the theoretical and empirical approaches to the analysis of economic and business issues in the international environment and evaluate how the changing international business environment effects firm level decision making.  This unit focuses on the international business environment outside of Asia:  namely North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and the The Middle East.
