This unit provides students with the opportunity to gain experience applying the engineering principles and skills they have learned in their coursework units to a specific practical engineering project. The project is selected in consultation with an academic supervisor, and can be nominated by the supervisor, by the student, or by an industry partner. Students will produce a project proposal and risk assessment at the start of the unit and will need to document the work completed towards the development of the project up to the end of the semester in a project development report. The project will be continued and completed in the follow-up unit ENS4253 Engineering Project. Full Unit Outline | |||
