Description:

This unit explores contemporary feminist understandings of the body, sexuality, narrative and textual representation as they relate to the processes of subjectification and the construction of femininities. Particular attention is paid to the possibility of re-storying the self in the light of poststructuralist theories of subjectivity and power.
