M49 Master of Men's Health and Andrology

INTRODUCTION

The Master of Men's Health and Andrology has been developed for medical practitioners seeking to respond to the health needs of men. With improved health across the world and greater life expectancy, preventive health and quality of life become more important.
 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants require a medical degree from a recognised institution.

This course is available on Joondalup Campus.

COURSE STRUCTURE

Students will complete a total of 180 credit points as per the below course structure:
 
STAGE 1
PRH5101 Men's Health and Prevention 20 
PRH5106 Sexual Health * 20 
PRH5111 Introduction to Andrology * 20 
 
Successful completion of Stage 1 results in eligibility to exit with a Post Graduate Certificate of Men's Health and Andrology.
 
STAGE 2
MMP5101 Evidence Based Practice 20 
PRH5103 Clinical Lifestyle Management 20 
PRH5112 Ageing in Men's Health * # 20 
 
Successful completion of Stage 2 results in eligibility to exit with a Post Graduate Diploma of Men's Health and Andrology.
 
STAGE 3
MHP5101 Master Health Project 20 
or Elective unit
MHP5202 Master Health Project 20 
or Elective unit
PRH5107 Preventative Medicine 20 
 
# or elective from preventive health, family medicine, and palliative care.
* Exemptions apply for holders of the Certificate of Andrology and Aging Science obtained at the Mathuselah Centre in Singapore.
