SWK3101 Social Work Theory and Practice 1 , and
SWK3102 Context and Diversity in Rural and Regional Practice , or
SWK3103 Welfare State and Human Service Organisations
 
Description:
Fieldwork Studies 1 comprises two components: a supervised Social Work practice placement and integrative academic study. Fieldwork Studies 1 enables the student to begin the development of a professional identity, the development of objectives of learning and practical social work skills. This unit offers students the opportunity to gain knowledge of the range of practice experiences available to Social Workers in a rural, regional or remote context.
