F77 Graduate Certificate (Practice Nursing in Primary Health Care)

INTRODUCTION

The Postgraduate Certificate in Practice Nursing in Primary Health Care will expand the Practice Nurse's knowledge base and enable informed and competent practice in a variety of medical practices. Graduates of this course will have knowledge and skills necessary to work professionally within a general practice setting.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMNTS

Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the statutory State or Territory Nurses' Registration Board.

 

A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, or relevant work experience as a Registered Nurse in General Practice. All students must provide evidence that they will have access to a General Practice work environment.

 

COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY

External fee paying course with a residential school component. The course requires two semesters of part-time study.
