This unit will provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate advancing midwifery competencies in a variety of settings including complex care. Students will develop an understanding of the pivotal role of the midwife in a multidisciplinary healthcare team and participate in collaborative processes with the healthcare team to optimise outcomes for mother and child.
