M64 Bachelor of Leisure Sciences Honours

The Bachelor of Leisure Sciences Honours requires a fourth year of study after students have completed the third year of the Bachelor of Leisure Sciences.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for the honours program a student must normally have achieved a course WAM of 70% in the degree program.

This course is available on Joondalup Campus.

This course is available by Full-time, or Part-time mode.

This course is available in the following modes of delivery - On-campus, and Online.
 
COURSE STRUCTURE
 
FOUNDATION
Students are required to complete six units in the honours program over two semesters:
 
Semester 1
Students complete two advanced theory units:
LSC500C Leisure Sciences 2 15
LSC511B Leisure and Sport Policy Development 15
Plus one research unit from the following (within which a research proposal is developed) selected from:
MKT511C Applied Research Development V 15
MKT511D Qualitative Research Methods V 15
Or relevant research units*
*Research units are selected from the University Handbook, in consultation with the supervisor.
 
Semester 2
LSC511C Leisure Sciences 3 15
LSC5105 Thesis Development I 30
