Description: | |||
A unit designed to prepare students to conduct mathematics activities in primary school classrooms. Mathematical content knowledge will be developed through modelling of practical classroom ideas and the use of a range of texts and manipulative learning materials as well as information and communications technology. The various curriculum documents relevant to mathematics teaching in Western Australian schools will be introduced and opportunities provided to plan and assess activities in an outcomes based context. | |||
