ACD1101 Defining Dementia
SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY

Description:

This unit will facilitate students' understanding of the changes that occur in the brain in the most common types of dementia and of the effects of dementia on the individual and on their family carers. Key philosophical approaches to the care and support of people with dementia and their families will also be explored.  Online students require a computer and modem capable of accessing online resources.
