Description:

The unit commences by providing a brief overview of the range of educational resources which education assistants can prepare to help to promote young children's learning. Students become familiar with a number of general principles for designing and presenting educational resources, with particular emphasis on the production of charts/posters, worksheets and overhead transparencies. Commercial materials available for use in designing educational resources will be considered and students will be assisted to design their own charts, posters, worksheets and overhead transparencies.
