It will equip students with theoretical tools needed by mathematics teachers to interpret the curriculum and build a dynamic learning environment for the middle years of schooling. And it will provide students with a scaffold for integrating a wide range of discipline-centred pedagogical strategies and constructing inquiry-based mathematical learning tasks for young adolescents.
