WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS

Description:

A lecture program examines the relationship between the content and form of performing arts and the social relationship between the production and consumption of performance culture, drawing from a wide range of material arranged thematically rather than chronologically. Students will examine a range of critical methodologies for appreciating, negotiating and interpreting cultural performance. The tutorial program develops the student’s familiarity with critical terminologies and methodologies.
