ERS3110 Exploring the Processes of Constructing Scientific Knowledge

Description:

This is the core unit for developing a professional understanding of teaching and learning in the area of science. Throughout the unit students will engage in a collaborative, material centred and inquiry based program that will enhance their scientific literacy and their knowledge of the nature and philosophy of science. This will provide a growing foundation for experiential process approaches and assist students in developing an understanding of key concepts in science. Note - students should not select this unit if they have specialised in science at second year level.
