LAN2112 Developing Literacy Fluency

Description:

The third literacy unit in Early Childhood Studies extends students knowledge of teaching literacy to young children focusing on the early and fluent literacy learner. Theoretical knowledge relevant to the teaching and learning of reading, writing, viewing and oracy is explored. This knowledge provides the context for examining organisational aspects of the literacy classroom and a range of suitable literacy teaching strategies.
