This unit provides an introduction to the range of secondary research methods and writing processes required to commence study at university. The focus is on developing a topic suitable for academic purposes, researching a range of information from different sources, using correct academic referencing conventions and writing an academic report and academic essay. Other academic writing genre will also be discussed. Hours/Week: Three hours per week | |||
